20 years logo final 2The 7th-floor south-facing atrium of McGraw Hill International's modern office building in Canary Wharf, London, houses an impressive indoor landscape, featuring eight Ficus lyrata specimen trees. Each tree stands at an impressive 5 meters tall and was carefully sourced and supplied by ZaP International bvba.

Due to the height and design of the atrium, the trees had to be lifted seven stories using a crane for installation. This required meticulous preparation and coordination, which ensured the trees were successfully installed without any complications.

The trees are now planted in striking 1.2-meter diameter glazed white ceramic pots, sourced from Dutch firm Nieuwkoop de Kwakel BV. The planters, complemented by a grey slate top dressing, add to the overall elegance of the space.

Along the inner edge of the atrium, a built-in planter bed, 27 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, was densely planted with Hedera, creating the appearance of a lush green lawn. The edges of the bed are curved, giving a wave-like effect that complements the atrium's marble flooring and draws attention to the glass staircase and the green back-lit wall, creating a dynamic yet tranquil environment.
