Nurture Landscapes has successfully completed an ambitious interior landscaping project for a leading bank in central London. The installation featured two striking 7.5m Bucida trees, designed to enhance the reception area by introducing planting and reducing glare.

The client required a solution that would not only improve the aesthetic appeal of the space but also create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for staff and visitors. Nurture Landscapes’ expert interior plants team meticulously planned and executed the project to meet these objectives.

 

To minimize disruption, the installation took place over a weekend. Given the scale of the project, significant logistical planning was required:

 

The trees arrived on 12 trolleys and were unloaded manually.

 

Custom GRP tree planters, measuring 1.5m wide by 1.2m tall, were installed, featuring water level indicators and 1.2m deep fill pipes to support long-term maintenance.

 

 

The trees were placed on a turntable system, allowing them to be rotated for even growth throughout the year.

 Bucida trees were selected for their slow growth and year-round greenery, ensuring lasting visual impact.

 

 

The completed installation successfully achieved the client’s goals, reducing glare in the reception area while creating a natural, inviting atmosphere. This project highlights Nurture Landscapes’ expertise in delivering innovative interior landscaping solutions for high-profile spaces.
