Following our Annual General Meeting last week we are pleased to announce our new committee who will take us through the next year.
plants@work’s announces new committee
We are pleased to confirm that there are only minor changes to announce about our committee following our AGM on Thursday 22 June 2023. The existing team were all happy to retain their positions with the addition of two new representatives.

Kenneth Freeman will retain his position as Chair, “I’m happy to remain as Chair for another year. I feel there are a number of things we are trying to get started and it would be good to see them through.”
To support Kenneth, Shirley Anne Marshall and Prettpal Somel both of Ambius will share the supporting role of Deputy Chair. Arvin Bhudia of Lechuza continues in the role of membership secretary while Ruscha Mars owner of the Good Plant Company retains her position as Social Secretary.
They will be supported by Shirley Smith joint owner of Botanica Nurseries and newly elected members, Craig Edser, regional manager at Nurture Landscapes Ltd and Stephen Dieppe, MD of phsGreenleaf.
Ambassador Ian Drummond of Ian Drummond Botanical Design will remain a supporting committee member.
The year ahead
The organisation’s first event during this ‘new year’ will be National Plants at Work Week 10 – 14 July followed by our Awards Gala in September.
We will continue our monthly Zoom committee meetings with the option to engage additional meetings where necessary.
Watch this space as the common phrase invites – we will continue to announce plans of what we are doing to support and promote the industry.
