We are excited to report that we have celebrated our first fully open Leaf Awards Ceremony since 2019. We are proud that this was the 18th edition of our annual awards over the last 19 years. It was great to welcome member companies to this event which was sponsored by Koberg bv.

 Following an afternoon of seminars and an early supper, eleven plants@work members collected Leaf Awards for their entries in a number of different categories.

 Awards Dinner 2023

Dinner at The Holiday Inn, Camden Lock

 The Awards are rigorously judged with each of the shortlisted projects visited by members of the judging panel. Each site is judged on its own merits and suitability. 

Winning the ‘Best Project’ Award this year was the Christmas installation by The Nurture Group at McCann Worldwide with their ‘Gatsby Christmas’.

Members entered awards in sections Design and Installation, Maintenance and Christmas this year. There were 11 Gold medals for outstanding entries in all of the categories. A list of all the winners is available on our website.

The Award ceremony followed an afternoon Seminar Programme presented by members and especially invited guests. You can read a brief introduction to these interesting talks here

“We launched the day with an afternoon of seminars by members and guests,” explained plants@work Chairman Kenneth Freeman, “which were welcomed by all those attending. The Awards followed supper taking the event into the early evening.”

“We were pleased to welcome not only award winners but also many of the speakers from the afternoon to join us for the award presentations.”

Members present at this event were happy to support Perennial, the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture and their families.
