Save the Date: Biophilic Design Conference 2025 – 17 November
plants@work is excited to spotlight the Biophilic Design Conference 2025, hosted by the Journal of Biophilic Design. This pivotal event will take place on Monday, 17 November 2025, at Westminster Central Hall, London, from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.
This year's conference, themed “Policy, Place & Planet: Biophilic Design for a Regenerative Future,” aims to transform how we design, build, and govern by bringing together leaders from design, planning, ecology, health, education, and policy to explore how biophilic design can become the foundation for healthier environments, stronger communities, and equitable economies. Focusing on real-world case studies rather than theory, the event showcases innovators and practitioners who are already creating biophilic cities—where wildlife returns, air and water quality improves, mental and physical health is supported, and communities thrive.

As well as keynote presentations, the conference will feature a dynamic mix of mini TED-style talks, followed by panel discussions or in-conversation debates. Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including city governance, sensory design, planning, mass timber buildings and architecture, water, interior design, net-zero economics of biophilic design, well-being, eco-urbanism, natural capital, materials, and more. Conference proceedings, including a collection of papers and case studies, will be published in February 2026 with key sponsor branding. Recordings of the main speakers will be streamed on the conference platform for attendees post-event to support extended market research and educational outreach. These recordings will also be available for educational purposes for sponsors on request. Additionally, a short film and key message videos will be produced and made available to participants and sponsors for use after the event.
Tickets are available for both in-person and livestream participation. For more details and to register, please visit the official event page: Biophilic Design Conference 2025.
Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a transformative event that bridges design with nature for a sustainable future.
