Houseplant Appreciation Day is celebrated every January 10 particularly in America. It originates from people finding the gaping space left once the Christmas tree was gone unbearable.

As usual we have asked a number of celebrities from the plant world to choose their Favourite Christmas Plant. The selection of plants they were asked to consider included favourites from recent years’ winners and runners up.

Over the past few years we have had a committee of well known people from the industry vote from a selection of plants to pick their favourite for Christmas. This year we are embarking on a similar idea but the choice is from the top plants listed over the last few years.
