plants@work Unveils Commemorative 25th Anniversary Logo: A Symbol of Growth and Innovation in the UK’s Interior Landscaping Industry

on Monday, 02 February 2026. Posted in Latest News

plants@work, the UK’s association for interior landscaping, is proud to reveal its official 25th-anniversary logo. This commemorative brand identity marks a quarter-century of industry leadership, tracing the association’s evolution from its origins as efig in 2001 to its current role as the vanguard of workplace place and biophilic design.

25 Years of plantswork logo

The reveal serves as the opening salvo for a year of celebration, starting with in a landmark industry gathering at Provender Nurseries on Friday, 27 February 2026.

The Design: Rooted in History, Reaching for the Future
The 25th-anniversary emblem was developed to communicate stability, vitality, and the professional "green" standard that plants@work members represent. Key features of the design include:

  • The Bridge of Time: An arch traditionally represents a gateway or a bridge. In this context, it symbolises the bridge between the association’s founding in 2001 (as efig) and its future in 2026.
  • Growth & Vitality: At the heart of the logo is a stylised human figure that morphs into plant life. The arms raised as leaves in a celebratory pose, visually represents biophilia—the innate connection between humans and nature. The ring encircling the figure’s waist adds a sense of movement and "work in progress" is a symbol of the community and the networking that the association has successfully brought together over the last quarter-century.
  • Corporate Green & Professional Grey: The retention of the signature plants@work logo and its colours ensures brand continuity while reinforcing the balance between horticultural expertise (Green) and business professionalism (Grey).

"Our 25th-anniversary logo is more than just a celebratory badge; it is a tribute to the professionals who have turned the 'office plant' into an essential architectural component," says Kenneth Freeman, plants@work Chairman. "It celebrates where we’ve been and, more importantly, the green future we are still building."

The reveal of the logo marks the start of the countdown to the plants@work 25th Anniversary Event, held at the renowned Provender Nurseries in Swanley. This gathering will bring together industry pioneers, designers, and trade partners to reflect on the evolution of interior landscaping since the association's inception.
