As plants@work celebrates a quarter-century of leadership, the introduction of the Pride Network highlights the association’s evolution from a purely professional body to a vanguard of social progress within the industry. The Pride Network aims to provide a dedicated space for networking and advocacy, ensuring that the interior landscaping industry remains a welcoming home for all professionals regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Ian Drummond, plants@work Ambassador and Equality and Diversity Secretary, expressed the significance of the launch:

"As we celebrate 25 years of plants@work, it is vital that we look forward to the next 25 with a clear focus on the people who make this industry. Our industry has always been a place of creativity and growth, and by formalising this network, we are ensuring that every individual—regardless of how they identify—feels seen, supported, and celebrated. We are proud to be launching Pride Network group to ensure that the interior landscaping sector is a place where LGBTQ+ professionals do not just exist but grow and thrive. Today we’ve planted something truly special. TOGETHER WE GROW."

The network will not only support plants@work members but will actively network with other LGBTQ+ communities across various industries to share best practices and promote the benefits of interior planting. The plants@work Pride Network will be hosting events and digital forums. The members are encouraged to join the initiative and contribute to a more diverse horticultural landscape.
